During the 36FILAH

The exhibition invites visitors to discover the cultural richness of Côte d’Ivoire, a West African nation marked by remarkable ethnic, linguistic, and religious diversity. Through a carefully curated selection of ethnographic objects representing traditional art from Ivorian cultures, along with photographic material, the exhibition showcases the country’s artistic wealth and the everyday life of its people.

This exhibition is part of the 2025 International Book Fair of Anthropology and History (FILAH) and seeks to foster dialogue with Afro-Mexican communities. As the result of a collaborative effort between Mexican and international institutions, it also pays tribute to the many shared histories between Africa and the Americas.
